This album, hot on the heels of their popular "Hot Box" album which featured two mega R&B hits in "Money (Gotta Get My Hands on Some") and "Backstrokin'," although somehow not as captivating to the public, still managed to turn out the Funk and put a virtual party on plastic!
"Tasty Jam" is a rare Old School Funk album that can sit very comfortably alongside anything other bands like Zapp, Sun, Chocolate Milk or Tom Tom Club were doing at the time.
